Train catching up behind.

Overall it was a great little ride with great weather, wasn't to great coming back having 10-15 mile an hour winds.

Trip to Sweden!

On Friday my Mom, Olivia and I headed out of Lincoln and off to Sweden for a week to visit Dakota who was anxiously waiting for us to get there. This was our first plane at the Lincoln airport, this plane would take us to Chicago.

Not a great picture, but this was coming into Chicago.

Our second plane which was much bigger! This took us in the air and off to Copenhagen Denmark which was 8 hours away.

Great technology these days that we were able to watch our plane landing in the Copenhagen airport on a little touch screen in front of our seat. We could also watch movies, play games, check on the flight info, and listen to music. Without this it would have made the flight seem much longer then what it really was.

Made it to Sweden! And had a great sleep that night after being up for around 30 hours!

Dakota, Mom, and Olivia standing in front of the sauna's where people would go in, and then take stairs down to the ocean to cool down! We didn't get a chance to do this, which I wasn't disappointed that we didn't because the water looked super cold!

Again...

Some crazy chairs, I think Dakota said that they move these around the city every month if I'm right.

A statue of the guy looking over at Denmark making sure that they're not going to invade Sweden.

Another picture with Olivia standing in front.

Ebbas Fik, which was a Elvis type of restaurant that we had breakfast at.

Espresso shop where we first stopped at when we got to Sweden.

We decided to go to a store in town and gather up some good food and had a Swedish meal together.

Kaviar and Ansjovis!

Mom and Dakota, also right by Dakota's head to the right is a man that was out there fishing, kinda funny how he was so far out there!

On our way to the castle!

Us three outside of the King and Queens summer castle.

A church that Dakota has gone to a couple of times. Very old and had a lot of great architecture to it.

Glass window.

Another picture of the inside looking out into the pews. There were also a couple of people that were sleeping in the pews.

A great view of some of Sweden, and also the boats going back in forth from Sweden to Denmark every 20 minutes.

And again.

Waiting for the bus.

Very neat idea for a house!

Dakota's rotarian took us all over the countryside to let us get another great look of Sweden.

A great picture that Dakota got of a windmill along the drive.

Mom, Dakota, and Olivia.

This guy was pretty committed to riding his bike to work, as were a lot of other Swedish people.

Statue in Denmark

Waiting on the train to go to Malmo.

Look out tower in Helsinbörg Sweden.

Dakota and I went to the top!

There were rooms as we went up, and some of them were pretty spooky inside, especially because we were the only ones there.

Finally on top and what a great view!

Dakota celebrating after our great climb up to the top of the tower.

Another picture.

Heading to Denmark, and to the castle. You can tell it was quite cold and the water was froze in some places.

The castle and the moat around it.

Inside the castle.

Some great deserts that we bought in Denmark.

Here was a picture of what the ferry that we took looked like.

Fika with Dakota's friends.

This was when we had dinner with Dakota's first host family, and their dog named Isa.

Our appetizer that we shared on the ferry our last day there.

Pea soup with shrimp, very good!

Another great view of the sky.

Their cheese was pretty good I have to admit!

Dinner at the B&B where we had sausage links, raw salmon, cheese, olives, bread, and a few other things.

One last view of our B&B our room was the middle floor and the left room.

And waiting for our flight out of Copenhagen Denmark. Sad to say goodbye, but will see Dakota in 5 months which will go by fast and was a great experience to go to Sweden.
